The Hermetic5 Standard

Why This Matters

Software that cannot guarantee its own completeness is a liability. The Hermetic Asset standard defines five principles that, when followed, make an application self-contained, reproducible, and operationally sound.

Each principle is independently necessary. Violating any single principle means you do not have a Hermetic Asset but a partial delivery.

A Hermetic Asset is an atomic, immutable unit of deliverable value. It contains everything required to build, deploy, govern, and understand itself, versioned together as an indivisible whole.
